Western Realty Finance (WRF) is actively seeking a Contract LoanStream.ai IT Development Lead to join our innovative team. This crucial role is centered on leading the technical direction, development, and enhancement of our LoanStream.ai Loan Origination System (LOS), a cornerstone technology that supports the WRF Brokers First origination channel.

Location: Remote (Nationwide)

Role Overview:
The LoanStream.ai IT Development Lead will spearhead a dedicated team responsible for the continuous innovation, development, and maintenance of the LoanStream.ai platform. This platform is vital for streamlining the loan origination process, ensuring WRF remains at the forefront of the construction finance industry through technological excellence.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Platform Enhancement and Maintenance: Lead the development and ongoing enhancement of the LoanStream.ai platform, ensuring it incorporates the latest in AI, machine learning, and software development practices to remain an industry leader.
• Technical Strategy and Solution Development: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand emerging needs within the construction finance sector and translate these into robust technical strategies and solutions.
• Team Leadership: Manage a team of developers and IT professionals in a remote environment, fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Problem Solving: Utilize advanced problem-solving skills to address and troubleshoot platform issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining high user satisfaction.
• Research and Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in software development, AI, and machine learning to continually propose and integrate innovative features that enhance broker experiences and operational efficiencies.
   

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in software development with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing IT projects or development teams. Experience in the financial services or real estate sectors, particularly with loan origination systems, is highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong technical background in programming languages (e.g. Java, C#, Python), database management, and cloud computing platforms. Expertise in AI and machine learning technologies is a must.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to align technical development with business strategies and goals. Proven track record in delivering innovative solutions that drive business growth and efficiency.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are essential for interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts and strategies.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Finance, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in software development, AI, or machine      learning are a plus.
